Part 3 – “our system must protect our rights, and upon corruption of that system, it is up to the individuals to protect their own rights”

This is the only part of the manifesto I actually agree with.  In America, our rights are defined by the United States Constitution (as amended).  When our representatives defy the Constitution, breaking their oaths of office to preserve, protect and defend such, then it is up to individuals to protect those rights.  We do this by VOTING, not by hanging out in Pioneer Park.  We’ll see where all these “Occupy” folks are next November.  My guess it they’ll still be in Pioneer Park yelling about evil corporations killing bunnies.

The one thing they don’t seem to understand is that the “power” to destroy our rights rests in Washington, not on Wall Street and by focussing on corporations, they’re giving a free pass to the people who are REALLY destroying our rights by defiling the document created to protect them.

It’s a tremendous waste of energy by people who frankly don’t know any better.
